Horologica was completed in 1997 by David K. Ross and is comprised of 60 graphite drawings on paper, each measuring 25 x 35 cm. Providing a view into the past and present of imaging technologies, the drawings depict an object as it spins through various axes. Loosely based on a 19th century device for watching animated drawings, but frequently resembling a communications satellite, the images move back and forth in time with each rotation, each view.

Horologica was exhibited at the Koffler Center of the Arts in 1998, along with works by Karen Henderson, in an exhibition entitled Time Indefinite. Curated by John Massier, a pdf version (3 megs) of the exhibition publication may be downloaded here.
